Hailing from Kunnamkulam, The Vadakkans have spread over the perimeter of Angamaly in the recent past. With a humble origin to claim, we have toiledour ways to success. Leaving no stones upturned, our ancestors showed us the way to succeed in life through suffering and hardwork. Our great grandfather who extended the roots of Vadakkans to Angamaly was, Ittyerah. He was a great devotee of God and a person of self-respect. Having settled at Angamaly, he was the Altar Assistant of the well-known St. Mary’s Jacobite Church, Angamaly. His descendants were Cheria, Varkey, Annam and Parambi Ammayi, who too inherited the legacy of their father. Later on, Cheria married Acha. They had three sons. Ittyerah, Thomas and Poulose. Ittyerah the elder one, is our APPACHAN. He married Mary, from the Puthussery family at Paravoor. They are succeeded by 6 sons and 3 daughters. |
